Carrollton, Texas – July 16, 2007 – Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (OTCBB Symbol: IZZI) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, B&B ARMR Corporation, has received a major order for high security anti-terrorist barrier systems for ultimate delivery to a major new U.S. governmental installation in north Texas. For security reasons, the exact location of the installation was not released. The barriers will form an integral part of the perimeter defense structure for this facility. The order, valued at approximately $450,000, is for several B&B ARMR Model 820 shallow mount vehicle barriers. This particular product is certified by the U.S. Department of State to meet the rigorous K-12 crash rating, the highest level certification. The Model 820 barrier can be deployed in under one second and is capable of stopping a 15,000 lb. vehicle traveling at 50 mph in less than 4 feet, yet requires only a 12 inch excavation to install. The barrier is widely used in governmental and industrial installations throughout the world. In addition, the installation will use several B-30 hydraulic bollard systems. These units are rated by the U.S. Department of State to a K-8 rating, meaning that they will stop a 15,000 lb. vehicle traveling at 40 mph. The installation further includes a factory maintenance contract.
