Cairo Tourist Resort

IIrving, Texas – October 4, 2006 – Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (OTCBB Symbol: IZZI) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, B&B ARMR Corporation, has received an order for it’s high security anti-terrorist access gates to be installed at a major tourist resort property in Cairo, Eqypt. The installation is part of an upgrade to bolster perimeter security at the resort property. This is the second project in Cairo aimed at improving the security profile of tourist and resort properties, and both installations are aimed at reducing the potential for hostile intrusion by a vehicle. Past experience around the world has demonstrated the vulnerability of resort properties to terrorist actions. The use of effective anti-vehicle barrier systems manufactured by B&B ARMR has proven to be highly effective in curtailing these types of actions as well as reducing the human and commercial consequences should an attack take place.
