INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEMS, INC. ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF
PETER BEARE
Irving, Texas – May 21, 2003 – Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (“ISSI”)
(OTCBB Symbol: IZZI) today announced that Peter Beare has been elected
President of its B&B Electromatic subsidiary. Peter is a member of the
ISSI Board of Directors and has previously performed consulting
assignments for ISSI and others through Peter Beare and Associates.
Peter served as President of Ultrak, Inc. (now American Building
Control, Inc.) until his resignation. In that role he led this security
systems and products company to sales of $200 million and key positions
in a number of markets.
B&B Electromatic is a seventy-five-year-old company with a strong
position in the road and bridge and perimeter security arenas. A very
successful recent product has been an anti-terrorist crash barrier.
Headquartered in Irving, Texas, IZZI is a technology company that
designs, develops and markets safety equipment and security software to
